In China, the amount of the wastewater from coal production is largest inindustrial, meanwhile, it is also a renewable water through which can get thebiggest available. Facing the enormous pressure from the bad environment thatfouled by mine wastewater, together with under the guidance of national policy, itis required that a greater efforts to be needed to solve the coal mine wastewatertreatment and reuse. This text made a certain wastewater of beneficiation of theSouth coal mine in GuiZhou province Zunyi city. Based on the water quality andsituation of study at home and abroad, two testing programs have been designed,static coagulation tests and dynamic filter together with adsorb tests.Static coagulation tests completed through the beaker. I select two kinds ofcoagulant about the PAC and PAF, and designed three coagulation programs. First,let PAC or PAF alone to join in the wastewater. Second, let PAC and PFC togetherjoin in the wastewater. In the three pilot programs, change the test conditions bychanging the dosage of flocculants PAM, the water’s PH value and temperature etc.Combined with economic decisions, I determined an optimal test conditionsultimately: with the temperature of20℃, when the PH value between the6~8, andthe dosage of Ca (OH)2, PAC, PAM were1g/L,35mg/L, and6mg/L, theremoval of sulfate and total hardness in wastewater reached82.53%and74.21%respectively.On the basis of Static coagulation tests, I have do some tests about dynamicfilter with adsorb. That is the best results from static coagulation tests is the startconditions of the dynamic filter with adsorb tests. In these tests, I select someappropriate filters and materials which can be used as supporting layer. Then Iselect three kinds of adsorbent like activated alumina, pillared montmorilloniteand goethite. I have made two single-factor tests on basic of change test conditions.The first factor is changing the clarify water’s PH value from the high water bank,the second factor is let the filtering water in different speed through adsorptioncolumn. After I finished these test, I make sure that the goethite is the bestadsorbent to treatment this mine wastewater, and the best conditions is the PHbetween4~5, and in speed of1m/h.After static coagulation tests and dynamic filter together with adsorb tests,the sulfate and total hardness in wastewater residue as212.71mg/L and161.04 mg/L, has reached the quality standards of urban water supply (CJ/T206-2005).
