Research On Water Resources Environmental Ethics Of The Shiyang River Basin

Faced with numerous global environmental problems such as global climate change, ozone layer thinning, reduction of biodiversity, desertification, depletion of natural resources, environmental degradation, etc, People found a new model of development that is sustainable development concept to realize the harmonious development between man and nature. To implement the strategy of sustainable development, in addition to technological innovation, economic development speed control and policy adjustments, the advocacy of environmental ethics based on the concept of sustainable development is urgent. From the perspective of sustainable development rethinking and building the relationship of people-to-people, between man and nature, then the building of the environmental ethics based on sustainable development have the great theoretical and practical significance. It provides a scientific basis for the criterion and restriction of human activities, raising community awareness of the environment and enhancing the implementation of regional sustainable development strategies and policies and measures. At present how to make environmental ethics from theory to practice is not only related to its ability to play a social function, as well as to its own development. The essence of environmental ethics is practice and to perfect itself in practice. This paper select Shiyang River Basin as the study area, because the valley has the highest level of water resources development and utilization, the largest imbalance between supply and demand of water resources, and the most serious environmental deterioration in three landlocked rivers in Gansu Province. Shiyang River Basin as a typical inland river basin has their shared characteristics. At the same time, Shiyang River Basin is the reflection of problems encountered in the development and utilization of water resources of inland river basins and others. The paper analyzes the water use in Shiyang River Basin from the perspective of environmental ethics and puts forward the corresponding environmental ethics building model and proposal. It also hopes to be a reference for the sustainable use of water resources of China northwest inland river basins and the socio-economic sustainable development in oasis. First the paper summarizes the research content and related theory, make full use of the existing research results and strive to realize the combination of theory and practice. It has the innovation in the theoretical method and improvement in the technology route. Then from the perspective of environmental ethics the paper makes the investigation of Shiyang River Basin and use of water resources status and analyzes the results, make out the environmental ethics problems of the water resources. On this basis, this paper puts forward Shiyang River Basin environmental ethics construction and model to promote sustainable use of water resources. Finally, it makes the conclusions, shortcomings and prospects of the research.
