Since founded in 1965, at Xi'an University of Science and Technology the device plane physical simulation has done a lot of physical simulate experiment. As time passing by, its faults came out gradually. Because of structural detect, there exists certain differences between Simulation model and design model, relatively affecting the experiment results. Therefore, there is great importance of adopting Simulation model researching strata control in the device of Simulation model. The similar degree between similar model and prototype is the key to experiment reliability, and the reasonable device of physical simulation is the basis of physical simulation experimentThis article is aimed at the device of plane physical simulation of Xi'an University of Science and Technology, applying knowledge of Similar Theory, Structural Mechanics, Material Mechanics, etc., specifically analyzing the composition of 3-metre physical similar simulation device. In concern of longtime load-carrying and transformation in longtime appliance of channel steel, using Theory of Machines and Mechanisms,Design of Machines and Mechanisms; to remake reliable design on original structure fixing method, adopting new fixing method of no drilling on the channel steel, to make load-carrying of the channel steel more reasonable. And in accordance with the situation of mining development, the condition of inferior experiment equipment of physical simulation experiment on inclined seam, adding tilting device to the similar simulation to multifunctionalize new device of physical simulation, thus for various similar simulation experiment of inclined seam. Using mechanism to devise reliable tilting device and hydraulic return circuit, and though hydraulic return circuit system controlling tilting,returning of experiment equipment to ensure steady return of model installment after accomplishing the making of model, and not to affect the model's internal structure to guarantee the accuracy of similar simulation experiment result. At last, proving the mechanical analysis of the new device of physical simulation, the research of this article make the structure of the new installment of physical simulation more rational, similar model and theoretical model more resemble, and experiment results more accurate and reliable.
