Hydraulic support is one of the most important equipments in the field of coal mining, and its safety and reliability is essential, which will affect the mining process directly. The design of hydraulic support is related to the knowledge of mechanical engineering, hydraulic technology, and control technology and so on, so the co-simulation method of hydraulic support is proposed and used for the research on overall dynamic characteristics of hydraulic support in order to the improvement of the comprehensive performance of the product in this thesis.Firstly, the dynamic model of hydraulic support is built. The three-dimensional solid model of the hydraulic support is established in Pro/Engineer software. Then the model is imported into the dynamic simulation analysis software of ADAMS, and the constraints and force is added. The multi-body system dynamic model of hydraulic support is carried out. The dynamic simulation results show the dynamic model is constructed correctly and prepared for the co-simulation of the hydraulic support.Secondly, the hydraulic model of the column circuit is established. The key component models of the column model, the check valve and the safety valve are built and the parameters are set with the multidisciplinary modeling and simulation software of AMESim. The dynamic characteristic curves of the column circuit are obtained and compared the results. The qualitative and quantitative analysis and simulation results are close the actual operation results, which prove the correctness of the hydraulic circuit model of column.On the basis of dynamic model and hydraulic circuit model of hydraulic support, the software of AMESim is selected as the master control software. The interface module of ADAMS/Control between the software of ADAMS and AMESim is set, and then the co-simulation model of the hydraulic support is established. The dynamic results and the dynamic characteristics of the column circuit are completed on the basis of the co-simulation model. The simulation results from the co-simulation and the single platform are compared. The simulation results show that the co-simulation method of hydraulic support can fully reflect the operating characteristics of the whole system. The project research provides a reliable method for the performance prediction and the development of new physical prototype of hydraulic support.
