Along with the fast development of cassava alcohol industry, governments attach more and more importance to the treatment of cassava alcohol wastewater. However, at the present, the treatment of cassava alcohol wastewater could not satisfy the new emission standard, it is imperative of carrying on the advanced treatment to the cassava alcohol wastewater. In this paper, based on the study of a great number literature, the cassava alcohol wastewater has been carried on the system's analysis of the advanced treatment. It includes two methods of the advanced treatment, which are the adsorption and the strong oxo-process tests. From the experiments we can konw:1, from the experiment of the intermittent adsorption, 100 item of powder activated charcoal is the best adsorbent, which is the least dosage and the lowest ton water expense. And the COD of the effluent is 90mg/L.2, from the experiment of the continuously adsorption, it is using the downflow type continual fixed bed to carry on. When the particle activated carbon achieves the point of penetration, the COD of the effluent is 45mg/L. When the particle activated carbon achieves the point of saturated adsorption, which is no longer has the adsorptive capacity. Therefore, through the particle activated carbon is carried on the regeneration promptly, the effluent can reach the new emission standard.3, from the experiment of the biological adsorption, the powder activated charcoal is the best adsorbent. The best dosage of this adsorbent is 2.5mg/L, and the lowest COD of the effluent is about 55mg/L in the continuous running advanced treatment. This method has certain cushioning function for the fluctuation of the Influent.4, from the experiment of the Fenton, when the dosage of ferrous sulfate is 1.5mg/L and 30% hydrogen peroxide solutions is 0.75mL/L, the COD of the effluent is 90mg/L.5, from the experiment of the sodium hypochlorite, it did not achieve the expected result. Therefore, this experiment has been studied continually.
