Brown first reported ladder polyphenylsilsesquioxane synthesized via "thermal equilibration polycondensation" in 1960 .However this result was disputed latter by other polymer chemists. So over last 40 years, there has still been an unsolved problem: if a perfect ladder polysilsquioxane can be made? Although a series of ladder polysiloxane with regular structure have been synthesized in our group via "supramolecular chemistry-controlled stepwise coupling polycondensation (SCP)", but the goal of "perfect structure" has not been achieved yet .This thesis aims to the synthesis of perfect polyphenylsilsesquioxane.The main research results are the following:1. The monomer (M), N, N'-bis(phenyldichlorosilyl)- m-phenylenediamine units self-assemble into perfect ladder superstructure (LS) by concerted interaction of hydrogen bonding and aromaticπ-πstacking. The ladder superstructure presented in the synthesis process of high regular polymer and its import template effect has been demonstrated by 29Si-NMR spectrum.,XRD,VPO,FS;2. Well-defined m-phenylenediimino-bridged ladder polymethylsiloxane (Me-OLPS) have been prepared via SCP, The structure of Me-OLPS was characterized by FT-IR, X-ray diffraction 29Si-NMR and DSC. The data show that the polymer has well-defined ladderlike structure;3. Well-defined m-phenylenediimino-bridged ladder polyphenylsiloxane (Ph-OLPS) have prepared via SCP. The structure of Ph-OLPS was characterized by FT-IR, X-ray diffraction 29Si-NMR and DSC. The data show that the polymer has well-defined ladderlike structure.
