| Precision ball plays an important role in the modern industry or precision engineering. With the increasing demand for product's high quality and the fierce market competition, to ensure the quality of precision ball lapping and enhance the efficiency of machining becomes more and more important. In order to implement this purpose, we must monitor the real-time state of precision ball lapping firstly, and then adjust the machining crafts aptly. At the same time, vibration signal is one important approach which can reflect the state of ball lapping. Therefore, there's a necessity to establish the lapping vibration monitor and analysis system, which can be applied to monitor the lapping process of precision ball.The paper designs a set of monitoring system to detect lapping vibration which bases on one system using accelerometer, data acquisition card and LabVIEW. Through using this system, the vibration signals in precision ball lapping are detected and analyzed efficiently. The results indicate that lapping vibration test can be used to monitor the processing of precision ball effectively, show the state and precision in lapping process effectively. Furthermore, we can put forward a series of optimizing control project more easily.In this paper, firstly, a simple sphere-panel lapping method (Planetary precise ball lapping equipment) is put forward which is based on analyzing the problem of the traditional lapping method. Moreover, the paper also discusses the control policy on this lapping method, analyzes the signification of lapping vibration detection.Secondly, the framework of lapping vibration monitor and analysis system is built which is based on the methods of lapping vibration data acquisition and the using of vitual instrument technology. The time domain and the frequency domain analytical methods of vibration signal are also investigated. At the same time, the paper disserts on the designing and development of the lapping vibration monitor and analysis system detailedly.At last, a series of experiment which are based on Nanopoli-100 planetary precise ball lapping device are carried out to monitor vibration and analysis signals. The paper also intends to analyze the relationship between the signal and the sphericity, bring forward the optimizing control project in lapping machining. |
