Today, in the field of electronic design, EDA software which enables designers to quickly translate design idea into actual design scheme has become a tool for designers. However, the key to the implementation of the design scheme, namely PCB proofing and small batch production of more varieties are still using the traditional chemical process, this PCB production mode has disadvantage of long cycle, high costs, lack of flexibility, and do not match various electronic activities. Developing a rapid PCB carving system so as to meet R&D and experiment demands.PCB numerical control system is the core of engraving machine, the strength of its control functions and control performance directly determined the quality of a PCB, it is essentially to the cost-effective and market competitiveness of PCB engraving machine. In this paper, the author has researched and developed high-performance PCB engraving machine precision numerical control system based on DSP to meet PCB engraving machine market demand, so as to raise domestic PCB engraving machine system cost-effective and market competitiveness, and also to improve end-users'product quality, increase productivity and save production cost.In this paper, the author has proposed the PCB engraving machine control system for driving and controlling requirements, and planned a numerical control system design scheme. Implementation of the scheme is using a TI Featured 32-bit fixed-point digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320F2812 as the lower position control system core processing unit and using modular design concept, under the control circuit sharing different tasks, implement PCB engraving machine control system hardware and software detailed design, this design concept has greatly increased. system design flexibility and reliability.High-speed adjustable motorized spindle is one of the key technologies of PCB engraving machine. This paper has in-depth researched speeding control of High-speed motorized spindle based on the space vector PWM technology and constructed DSP-based speeding control system, the test results show that the speeding control system of the motorized spindle can achieve 20000 ~ 60000 rpm stably control.To enhance carving precision, the author has study the stepping motor micro-stepping driver technologies in detail, adopted the method of current vector constant uniform rotation, realized 16 micro-stepping driving. Motion accuracy reached 0.00125mm, the experimental results confirmed the effectiveness of the method.PCB engraving machine prototype has gone through debugging of hardware and software, and the multi-testing experimental results show that the control system performance better meet on the PCB production of precision, rapid, smooth demands, and the system has attained its design requirements. The single-, double-sided PCB produced by this engraving machine fully meet user needs.
