This paper investigated on the impact of the ratio and the adding sequence of stearate compound surfactants on the print gloss and the water covering power. On the base of designing a scale -up equipment, the movement of carbon steel mill ball has been oberseved by taking photographs. the mechanical impact of the mill ball in different status are analyzed, and the parameters of the modification process were studied. The result showed that:1. It is obvious that the ratio of the modifiers have an effect on the print gloss of bronze powder. when the stearate A:B:C was added on the proportion of 1:1:2(wt), the gloss value can be raised by 61.8% which is the best result, but when the proportion is 2:1:1, the gloss value can be only improved by 10.9%.2. The adding sequence has remarkable effects on the print gloss of bronze powder. The method adding all the three stereate A,D and C at one time is interior to the one adding the three compound one by one. when we firstly add the stereate C ,then the stereate D,and then the stereate A,we can get the best result which can improve the gloss value by 88%. When the order is opposite to the one before we get the worst result which can only improve the gloss value by 43.1%.3. The packing fraction and the rotation speed changes the motion styles of the ball which caused different polishing effect.4. The suitable ratio of grinding media to material is critical to get satisfactory polishing result. Its better to keep all the interspaces been filled by the bronze powder, the ratio 14:1 is better than 25:1.5. The optimum technological parameters of the enlarged experiment were as follows: the rotation speed is 34r/min, the packing fraction is 25%,the ratio of grinding media to material is 14:1.under these process conditions, the maximum print gloss value of the power can reaches 50.3, which is 55.7 percent higher than the original powder's and exceeds the maximum print gloss value (44.7) that get from the mini-scale experiment.
