The paper is related tothe development of pour point depressant of crude oil at home and abroad, the mechanism of pour point depressants, and the factors that influence depression esects.By orthogonal test,we synthesize the meso-product through co-polymerization,with the styrene, maleic anhydride and acryloy amide as reactants, benzene as solvent, benzoperoxide as initiator, which are under the different monomer radio, temperature and initiator dosage. Then 1,4-dimethybenzene sulfuricacid as catalyst, reaction temperature120℃,reaction time 4h,distilling at low atmosphere we get nine kinds of pour point depressants-styrene/maleic anhydride /aeryloy amide and eicosanol ester copolymer .With the help of pour point determining apparatus ,the properties of nine kinds pour point depressants are measured. The optimal reaction conditions are in the following:co-polymerization pmocess n(styrene):n (maleic anhydride):n(acyloy)=1:6:3,reaction temperatum70℃,reaction time 8h and initiator dosage was 0.5%(per gramL It is shown that the pour point depressant dosage is 0.4% and heating the crude oil of 70℃lead to depressant of its pour point from 32℃to 18℃.At the same time, with the application of infrared Ray apparatus and Gel Permeation Chromatography, structure of product is also discriminated and analyzed.
