Cangzhou in Hebei province is a water-deficient area. The newly built 0.4 million tons/year PVC production project needs to draw water from Yellow river as its water source, which not only costs a fortune but also fetter the development of the enterprise. Thus, water saving is closely connected with the economic benefit of the enterprise.RWT (circulating cooling waste water and RO reject water of power plant is treated and reclaimed to circulating water treatment system) and PVC (process system project of PVC centrifugal mother liquor treatment and reclaimation) water treatment of Cangzhou Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd. attain zero discharge. The reclaimed water project is composed of two parts: (1).Reclaim mother liquor waste water of the newly built 0.4 million tons/year PVC and the existing 2.3 million tons/year PVC production plant: (2). Treat and reclaim circulating cooling waste water and RO reject water of power plant for the use of additional water. This project wins favourable economic and social benefits for the enterprise, and is of strategic significance on sustainable development, which is an important move towards modern water-saving enterprise.The scale of PVC project is 210m3/h. In order to solve the key problem that centrifugal mother liquor waste water and cleaning waste water contain much nondegradable organic compound, the project adopts the patent technology"Internal Circulating Immobilization Bioreactor"(BioAX? reactor) and highly efective microorganism bacterin to treat centrifugal mother liquor waste water and cleaning waste water of process unit, which makes PVC mother liquor reach the standard at lower cost. More than 60% suspended solid in treated water is removed by highly efective filter, and then enormous microorganism and bacteria are removed by anaerobic oxidition and active carbon adsoption process, meanwhile, 50% TOC are also removed out of the water. The key device of reclaim water process adopts the advanced and mature internal pressure model CUF (continuous ultrafilter membrane) in present world to filtrate and withhold the substance of which moleculor weight is more than 0.1 million dalton. Thus, suspended solid such as bacteria, virus, and colloid etc. are filtrated out completely, and the water attains the standard of reclaimation. The scale of RWT project is 264m3/h. This project adopts two-film technology which is fairly mature in the world. Futhermore, the technology utilizes ultrafilter and RO membrane to remove organic substance in reclaimed cooling water. There are a lot of successful cases of waste water treatment and reclaimation in application of this technology. The technology utilizes ultrafilter system to filtrate suspended solid such as bacteria, virus, and colloid etc. out of circulating cooling water, and then utilizes RO unit to desalt and decrease the salt content in circulating water in order to supply favorable water to cooling and circulatory system.
