It is reported that in China, among the state-owned mines, there are more than 50 mines, the depths are above 700 metres, the deepest of them is over 1000 metres depth, and the average of the depth increasing is 9 metres per-year. It is estimated that 53% of the coal resource is 1000 metres under ground in China. With the increasing of depth of the coal exploiting, the problem of high temperature and high humidity becomes more serious, which is extremely harmful to the mineworkers. So it is necessary and urgent for method that can ameliorate the situation.The structure of this paper is as follows. First, it is discussed of the system of mine cooling. And then, it is paid more attention on the designing the unit of mine cooling. Taking the example of the Shandong Xinwen Mine, this paper presents the cooling system for the mine and explains the process of refrigerating, transport- cooling and transmit-cooling. In the system, the key to be solved is the unit of cooling in the workface of the mine.This unit adopts the method of spraying and the fan, which make the cooling and clearing off dust together come ture. For the unit, the most important is the practicability. So this unit mainly adopts experiment, including experiment of spraying, setting up the equipment and the first step of testing for the equipment.It is needed to be emphasized that this task only studies the unit in the cooling process in mines of high temperatue and high humidity. The final approach is to set up an factitious mini-enviroment system, which needs multiple-solutions making the temperature to be adequate for working.
