With the development of modern photoelectron product, the aspheric surface optics parts are becoming more and more important because of its fine optical quality. Now, along with the progress of grinding technology, the application of the hard brittle materials is becoming more and more widely. It is very useful to develop the grinding theory and important practical significance to study the high precision grinding methods about the optical glass aspheric surface parts. In this paper, by testing the hardness and the fracture toughness of the optical glass, the critical grinding depth of the optical glass can be calculated. The conclusion has been reached that it is suitable to use the MK-9025 curve grinding machine to grind the aspheric surface, though analyzing those influence factors: the maximum grinding depth of a single grain, the speed of the work piece, the speed of the grinding wheel, the granularity between grinding particles and so on. Grinding scheme is crystallized by analyzing the origin of errors during grinding the aspheric surface; the influences factors to the shape precision were discussed such as the center error of the installment, the grinding wheel shape error, the attrition of the grinding wheel etc.. All these studies would provide reference to improve the shape precision.Through analyzing the grinding scheme, calculating the stochastic height of the grinding particles, establishing the M-documents by software MATLAB, the surface roughness can be simulated because of the parameters change. These studies can provide the reference for parameter selection.A high bright and clean surface has been obtained in this experiment by using the metal-bonded fine grain diamond grinding wheel, choosing appropriate grinding dosage, setting up the processing program automatically by the software MasterCAM, and grinded by MK-9025 numerical control optics curve grinding machine. The above achievement can provide basis for practical production. All of the achievements stated in this paper are of great importance to promote the wide application and study of the aspheric surface optics parts.
