Accelerometer is one of the principal inertial components in inertial measurement and navigation system, so it is widely used in aerospace, aviation and maritime fields, the quality of its performance plays a key role in the entire system. Therefore, improving the test accuracy of the acceleration is particularly important. In the process of testing, index head plays an important role, its accuracy plays direct impact on the results of accelerometer. Therefore, a high-precision automated index device is indispensable. In order to ensure the test accuracy of acceleration, a study of high-precision NC dividing head is of great significance.The thesis do a study around the high precision NC indexing system from the engineering reality. First, introduce the development status of NC-indexing head and motion controller, and on the basis of understanding of the mechanical structure, analyse the error and obtain the corresponding countermeasures of the NC system memory, make sure using error compensation technology to improve the accuracy of the program. Then complete the analysis and design of the position of servo system. Build the hardware system after theory analysis. At the same time, complete the debugging and performance analysis of the entire servo system, so establish the foundation for the next phase of experiments.Complete the software design of the system's control module using VC++, so establish a whole motion control system. Use optical method to measure the index error, analyse the accuracy of detection device. After lots of experiments, comparing the experimental data , find out the factors of the results then exclude the them to obtain the best experimental conditions. Then measure the system error and compensate the error by software to improve system accuracy. Deal with the experimental data and analyse the precision, put forward the reason of residual error and the improving methods.
