Electrochemical machining (ECM) is the technology that realizes its aim by anodic metal dissolution in electrolyte, the material is removed by means of ion, it is not influenced by materials intensity and hardness, the great development potential and wide application foreground are embodied in micro/nano process region.First of all, after the pulses ECM mechanism was analyzed, it was stated clearly that the localized ability would be increased and the scattering corrosion would be decreased by micro pulses ECM. The main factors which influenced the machining surface were analyzed systematically. Single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment were designed with parameters combination of machining voltage, concentration of electrolyte, feed rate, and duty ratio. The relations between machining surface and every factor were found.Then, the micro electrode was fabricated online by high frequency short pulses ECM. Different materials were used to fabricate the micro electrode. It was found that the difform tungsten electrode can be realized by different machining parameters. The economics, machining efficiency, and machining surface of brass electrode are the best in all tested materialsAt last, micro structure was fabricated with ultra short pulses power supply. By fabricating micro hole, the machining result was compared between rotated electrode and non-rotated electrode, and the micro hole with 25μm in diameter is fabricated successfully. Using the principle of delaminating milling, the micro structure was fabricated by rotated electrode, low concentration and passivity electrolyte, and low machining voltage. A round platform with micro groove is fabricated by combining CAD and CAM technology. In addition, The ECM turning technology was researched, which could used to fabricate micro rotation workpiece. The mechanism was researched and some workpieces were fabricated by the ECM turning successfully.
