The atmosphere contamination of NOx mainly comes from the smoke and gas of coal's combustion in power plant. Currently, the pollution of NOx has become more and more serious. So we must begin to develop the technology to control NOx's producing from power plant. At present, there are many technologies to control NOx's emission over the world. But in our country, because of some causes of ourselves, there are only a few can be widely applied. Thereinto, Reburning Technology as In-Furnace NOx Reduction is one economical and potent technology to control NOx's emission. It can be easily used and generalized. Because coal is very abundant in China and is also very effective to be used as reburning fuel, coal is first chosen as reburning fuel. The kinetics parameters and characteristics of coal's pyrolysis and combustion can right influence Reburning Technology's parameters. The characteristics of coal's reaction in reduced gas also will supervise Reburning Technology's application.In the article, four kinds of coal is layed in the thermobalance and heated with nitrogen gas at different heating-up speeds (20℃/min,35℃/min,50℃/min,75℃/min,100℃/min), and is also heated with reduced gas. The gas form reaction is leaded into FTIR and checked. The experiment method is named TG-FTIR technology. By using TG-FTIR technology, the relation between the weight loss of coal and temperature and the relation between gas component form reaction and temperature.The characteristic parameters of coal pyrolysis are obtained from weight loss curves of pyrolysis. Coal's kinetics parameters and mechanism function are got with kinetics analysis. The kinds and output of gas from reaction are got from the spectrograms collected by FTIR. The Reburning Technology's mechanism of reaction is studied more by analysing the characteristics of reaction, then this will supply academic gist for confirming parameters of the boiler of power plant that will use Reburning Technology and supply technology support for Reburning Technology to be used more.
