Performance experiment was carried through for vane-guided type of de-oil hydrocyclone. The infection for separating performance by some parameters was introduced,including entry flux, flooding rate, the exit angle of vane and the number of vane. And the flow field of this hydrocyclone was measured by laser testing instrument. Furthermore, the study on those parameters which are important for the separation performance wasexpounded in this paper.First of all, the shelf for laser testing was built. The flow field of this hydrocyclone, which type is DN50, was measured by APV. It was mostly showed that the tests of tangent velocity and axial velocity in this kind of hydrocyclone. As the analysis of the result of the test, the velocity distributing chart and the study on parameter of subaltern free vortex and LZVV was introduced in this paper.Secondly, the prime range of those parameters was found in analysing the result of performance experiments for the type of DN50. The flow field of vane-guided type of de-oilhydrocyclone was measured in different parameters by laser testing instrument according these results. Infection for separating performance by these parameters was studied in the view of flow field. And all results above provided a base for further research on the separation mechanism and optimization for the parameters of the new hydrocyclone.
