The rare earth organic/inorganic hybrid and nanocomposite luminescent materials have many advantages, such as high luminescent efficiency, easy coupling to fibers, and the good processing performance and so on. Moreover, they have application in the field of visible display, laser, optical waveguide , fluoroimmunoassay and otherwise. They also have potential application in the field of information materials. The rare earth organic/inorganic hybrid and nanocomposite luminescent materials have been became one of the research hotspot of the inorganic and material chemistry. Our country have the most quantity of the rare earth element, but the basic and applied researches can not completely support the development of the new material technology. So, it is very important to accelerate the investigation of the new rare earth and nanocomposite hybrid materials. There are two aspects of researches in this thesis:(1) We doped the erbium(â…¢) complexes into the PVP solution used the physical method and prepared the one dimension(1D) nanofibers used the electrospinning method. The near-infrared(NIR) photophysical(PL) properties of the Er/PVP nanofibers have been investigated. The strongest photoluminescence of the erbium(â…¢) complex has been screened out. The Er/PVP nanofibers with the advanced NIR PL properties were prepared, which had the potential applications in the field of optical amplifier and laser system and not been reported.(2) We grafting the europium(â…¢) complexes to the backbone of silica networks of organic/inorganic hybrid materials using the sol-gel method. The mesoporouse gel bulks and sol-gel films with good mechanics and transparency properties have been obtained. In order to improve the physics properties of the SiO2 gel matrix, the effect of SiO2 organically modified by organic modifier on luminescence of material were researched. The results were: the organic modifier can effectively improve dynam properties. The organic modifier VTES and MMA can effectively improve the luminescent properties of SiO2 gel bulk.
