Now, ceramics roll kiln was applied widely in architectural keramics, commodity-keramics and sanitation-keramics. Since ceramics roll kiln was popularized in 1970s, it was applied widely in our country for its smooth temperature field, fast diathermancy, low energy-dissipated and short period.In the industry of keramics, the distribution of temperature field, atmosphere component and the pressure in ceramics roll kiln were very important to the quality of productions, and the temperature field was the most importance. Beside the configuration of kiln, the distribution of burners, velocity-ratio of air and gas, velocity of mist gas and the property of flue were mostly determined to the distribution of temperature field. In fact, as the unreasonably temperature control, there were chromatic aberrations, dimension aberrations, distortions and breaks in ceramics productions. In this paper, the foundation of computational hydrodynamics, combustion, heat exchange and radiation, and the method of finite volume were applied in research and numerical simulation of temperature field in ceramics roll kiln, which included:First, the configuration characteristic and the main function of configuration of fire zone in roll kiln were familiar with, the characteristic of airflow in roll kiln was analyzed, and the geometrical model of fire zone was build by the Gambit. Taking into account the grid grads, the gridding model of kiln body and burner were build by the different methods.Second, combined with the CFD theory and the actual pyrology characteristic, three-dimension mathematical model which included theκ-εstandard onflow model, PDF combustion model and DO radiation model were built. And then, the mathematical models were dispersed and the equation groups in nodes of gridding model were found by dint of the first order upwind discrete scheme and the FVM, finally, the equation groups were resolved by the SIMPLE arithmetic.Third, after the working conditions were loaded and the programmes were calculated by Fluent, the nephogram and the contour of temperature field and flow field in fire zone were acquired. The characteristic of temperature field distribution and temperature difference in three-dimension section were principally analyzed, at the same time, the influence of flow field to heat exchange was also analyzed.At last, when the velocity of gas was changed, the characteristic of temperature field and flow field distribution and temperature difference in three-dimension section were acquired at the different velocity-ratio of air and gas. The relation of velocity-ratio of air and gas and temperature and temperature difference were analyzed, and the connection of the velocity-ratio of air and gas and furthest value of flow field were also analyzed.
