In the course of processing in pottery kiln, the flow field in the urgent cold section of pottery kiln is key factor of products' successful processing. According to distribution of flow field confirms the design and regulation of kiln all the time. In kiln, temperature field is the most important factor of the flow field. This paper regards temperature field as the main research object, the study on temperature field is divided into two parts: the simulation analysis of temperature field and the controlling of temperature field.The simulation of temperature field adopts the numerical simulation software -ANSYS which carries on the numerical simulation to the temperature field in the kiln , the simulation results accord with the real distribute of temperature field in the kiln, then simulation and analysing two kinds of situations by this way: there are retaining fire boards and there aren't retaining fire boards, and it proves that retaining fire boards distribute important function in controlling temperature field ;the above results , combining the real flowing field distribution , prove different angles of nozzle in the urgent cold section influence the distribution of temperature field directly, in the course of imitating to different nozzle angle ,we find the best nozzle angle in the situation that the air flow is certain. But in the processing course of the pottery kiln, the flow of cold air conditioning in the nozzle is always changing, and the distribution of temperature field in the urgent cold section would be influenced by the upper reaches and low reaches of the field flows, the distribution of temperature field will change thereupon too, in order to meet the technological requirement of processing, we should regulate the distribution of temperature field in good time. Optimizing the distribution of temperature field requires the nozzle angle can be automatic.The regulation of the angle is according to the request of the change of temperature and processing technology, it must be a course of automatic regulation, but controlling all nozzles in urgent cold section automatically is unrealistic, through simulations we can find that the most anterior two nozzles angle is the most important factor to distribution of temperature field in the urgent cold section, in the situation that other nozzles angle does not change, regulating this two can optimize the distribution of temperature field , but atmospheric pressure in nozzles relatively high, it demands the sealing is good, so at present, the nozzles in pottery kiln in domestic and international were all fixed, in order to regulate the direction of the cold aircurrent in the nozzle, the paper designes a set of steel tubes on the foundation of the already existing nozzle structure, steel tube of this type can free to swing, and it is convenient to regulate flow direction of cold air current.Section of controlling temperature field designes one automatic control system which can automatically regulate nozzle angle, and it is based on the AT89S51, according to temperature gathered from the thermocouple , AT89S51 can regulate the angle of the steel tube through step-motor. This kind of system is of simple structure, it not only improves automatic control abilities, but also effectively improves rationality of distribution of temperature field, and provides safeguard for success of the products.
