Density variable fabric is the fabric whose weft is distributed asymmetrically. Compared with actually symmetrical density fabric, density variable fabric has a lot of advantages such as polychrome appearance, displaying personality, good breath and dank performance. As a new clothing material, it has a nice market foreground.The research content of problem is one of contents of the national natural funding project whose name is density variable fabric and production, and the number of it is 50575154. Because the weft of density variable fabric is distributed asymmetrically, the force from weft or fabric to beating-up reed is variable in the producing course of weft, accordingly the front extreme position of beating-up reed is also various. In order to produce expected density fabric, we should and must analyze the effect factors to front extreme position of beating-up reed in the producing course of density variable fabric and the actual effect to beating-up reed. This paper research the effect factor and effect extent to front extreme position of beating-up,taking four-bar beating–up mechanism of WG2000 air-jet as research object,The main research works of this paper are listed as fellows:1)Analyzed the main effect actors to front extreme position of beating-up reed such as clearance of joints resistance of beating-up, rotating speed and configuration of components.2) Introduced the course of beating-up,analyze the range and numerical value of resistance of beating-up and the effect factors to the range of resistance of beating-up.3) the dynamic model of the components of beating-up mechanism as rigid bodies is established accordingly to four-bar beating-up mechanism of WG2000 air-jet; elastic dynamic model is established based on FEA and KED theory on the condition of equal rotating speed and different resistance of beating-up, elastic deflection of beating-up reed in the front extreme position is obtained, elastic deflection of beating-up reed along to resistance of beating-up is educed on the condition of equal rotating speed.4) Elastic deflection of beating-up reed in the front extreme position is obtained making use of elastic dynamic model on the condition of equal different rotating speed and equal resistance of beating-up, elastic deflection of beating-up reed along to resistance of beating-up is educed on the condition of equal rotating speed.
