| As a natural cellulose fiber, bast fiber has a lot of excellent characteristics, including renewability, biodegradability, nontoxic and nonpollution. Meanwhile, silk fibroin is a good protein raw material, having good body affinity. In order to realize the functionalization of the bast fiber, bast fibers were firstly selectively oxidized with NaIO4 solution and then treated with silk fibroin solution to obtain silk fibroin bast fiber. In this paper, the preparation principle of oxidized bast fiber and silk fibroin bast fiber were studied, as well as the weight, surface morphology, aggregation structure and mechanical properties. The performance of silk fibroin bast fabric such as wrinkle resistance, anti-uv properties and fabric style were also researched in the paper.The results showed that the factors, such as the concentration of oxidant, oxidiation time, oxidiation temperture and pH value, mainly affected the oxidation degree of bast fiber. With the deepening oxidation degree, strips emerged on the surface of bast fiber, and the crystallinity degree dropped. Moverover, the conformation of bast fiber even completely became amorphous when the bast fiber oxidized under extreme condition. The thermal decomposition temperture and endothermic decomposition temperature continuously decreased with the enhanced oxidization degree. The aldehyde content and the rate of weight loss in flax fiber increased, but the breaking strength and breaking elongation of bast fiber declined. The surface of oxidized linen fiber became smooth after treating with fibroin protein solution. Moreover, the wrinkle resistance of silk fibroin linen fabric was significantly increased. |
