In this paper,the Ramulus Cinnamomi belonging to Chinese traditional medicine was studied.The inhibition ratio of hyaluronidase was used to evaluate the antiallergic effects of samples.Solvent extract,extraction and Column Purification were used in order to get the sample that had high antiallergic effect. Also thin layer chromatography,color reaction,UV,IR and LC-MS were used to identify the structure of sample that had high antiallergic effect.At the same time, the scavenging ratio of Hydroxyl free radical,hydrogen peroxide,superoxide anion free radical and DPPH·of samples was followed,via the contract between the inhibition of hyaluronidase and the scavenging ratio,the mechanism of antiallergic effects of Ramulus Cinnamomi was forecast,also some bases were provided for us to filtrate the antiallergic plant.The best extract conditions were chosen as follows:The Ramulus Cinnamomi was breaked into pieces,then filtered by 20 meshes bolt,the extract temperature was 70℃,sample weight to solvent volume was 1/10,every extraction was for 1 hour and the extraction were duplicated three times,Then the extract was leached by chloroform,acetic ether,n-butyl alcohol,the sample which had higher antiallergic effect was isolated by HP-20,polyamide and sephadex LH-20,then the sample of gui15 which had the highest antiallergic effect was obtained and the inhibition ratio was 93%(1.2mg/mL),the content of phenol was 90%.The sample of gui15 turned blue when touching FeCl3-K3[FeCN]6,it showed phenol character by color reaction.These phenomena showed that the sample of gui15 belonged to condensed tannins.Also There were polyphone's characters when the sample of gui15 was detected by UV and IR spectrum,and it was confirmed by LC-MS that the gui15 contained catechin and epicatechin which were the delegates of condensed tannins.At the same time,the resistance to oxidation of samples was followed,the results showed that the sample which had higher antiallergic effect also with higher resistance to oxidation,it could give us some suggests about the mechanism of antiallergic effects and filtration about the antiallergic plants.
