Along with the progress of plastic colaration craft, over 90% general plastic obtains colors from color master batch except few engineering plastics which must maintain properties. Polymer/inorganic pigments color master batch has better thermostability,photostability and solvent resistance. Color master batch's processability will change if increase its concenteation,change process manner or multi-functionize. Study on the rheological behavior of the special filled polymer system of color master batch, which has great significance on improving color master batch's formula,coloration efficiency and product's properties.The rheological behavior of Polymer/inorganic paticles system was studied by taking LDPE/Fe2O3 color master batch as research object. Based on the profoundly analyse of forerunners'rheology model for suspension with spherical particles, Batchlor model was modified. The modified model is not only briefness and practicality, but also better than Batchlor model.Use Rosand RH7D Advanced capillary rheolometer to simulate the flow behavior of color master batch at its extrude proess. It was proofed that the viscosity of LDPE accords with Arrhenius model and power model; An semi-empirical viscosity model which for pure resin has two variable (tempreture and shear rate) was obatained through many rheology tests of LDPE.The rheological behavior of low concentration and high concentration colod master batch were studied. These color master batch contains dispersant with various concentration. 1% dispersant can disperse inorganic pigment of color master batch enoughly. The viscosity of low concentration color master batch will be decreased if increase the dosage of dispersant. The effect of increase dosage of dispersant can't improve high- concentration color master batch obviously; The best dosage of dispersant is 3% via rheology study of LDPE/Fe2O3 color master batch. Processing rheological behavior of PP filled by color master is beter than PP filled by Fe2O3, the best dosage of Fe2O3 in color master which filled in PP's process is 60%。...
