POE blending toughening is the main toughening method for many polymer materials.The blending of POE and HDPE is one of the important application directions of POE toughening modification at present,which is widely used in fishing gear manufacturing industry.The processing parameters of blending system are determined by rheological properties.The crystalline structure of the blends has a high influence on the service performance of polymer materials.In other way,the influence of POE content on the rheological properties and crystallization properties of the blends can not be ignored.The studies of rheological properties and crystallization properties in the blend system are undoubtedly beneficial to the selection of production process and raw material.Based on this,this dissertation used different POE content to blend HDPE and studied the rheological properties and crystallization properties of HDPE/POE blends.The influence of POE content on the rheological and crystalline properties of the blends was also analyzed.The main points were summarized as follows:1.With the increase of POE component,the storage modulus,loss modulus and complex viscosity of HDPE/POE blend were decreased,the HDPE/POE blends shows more relaxation behaviors,and the visco-elastic transition was easier to occur at low frequency.2.The isothermal and non-isothermal crystallization behaviors of HDPE/POE blend were studied by DSC.It was found that with the increase of crystallization temperature in the isothermal crystallization process,the semi-crystallization time increased significantly,while the crystallization rate constant G and the crystallization rate were decreased.The constant crystallization rate increased slightly with the increase of POE content.In the non-isothermal crystallization process,the crystallization process of HDPE/POE blends at low cooling rate was inhibited with the increase of POE content.However,the crystallization process of HDPE/POE blends at cooling rate of 10~oC/min was increasing with the increase of POE content.Jeziorny method found that the constant rate Z_C of the blends increased significantly with the increase of cooling rate.The POE content could accelerate the early stage of crystallization growth in blends.The results of Mo method found that adding 50wt%POE was beneficial to the crystal growth of the blends.
