The raw coal was Shenmu, Dianfangtai and Shimawa Jurassic weak & non-stick coal, Coal samples have been pretreatment by nitric acid of different concentrations. Choosing the white rot fungi (Phanerochaete chrysosporium) biodegraded the coal samples, the experimental results indicated: the white rot fungi can biodegraded the coal samples, the best concentrations of nitric acid was 5mol/L to biodegradation. With nitric acid concentration increased, Volatile Ash and Moisture content in coal samples has increased at first and then decreased. N and O content increased, oxygen-containing function group was increased.Orthogonal test studies demonstrated that the liquefaction time, liquefaction temperature, strain amount etc. were the main factors affected the coal degradation rate. The best technical conditions of the coal biological liquefaction were 40℃in 12 days and 60 ml, the biodegradation rate was 23.43%.Prepared medium and cultured Coriolus versicolor, the coal samples was biodegraded by Coriolus versicolor, the experimental results indicated: it was poor effecter than Phanerochaete chrysosporium in coal biodegradation.Comparing with the coal samples before and after the microbial degradation found that the ash of the coal residue after the biodegradation significantly reduced, H and O content increased, C , N and S content decreased. The biodegradation destroyed the coal macromolecular structure. Infrared spectroscopic analysis (FTIR) of solubilizing Products indicated that structure of solubilizing product was similar with that of the raw coal.Jurassic Weak & Non-stick Coal in Hengshan, North Shaanxi Province has never been researched in biodegradation, this has enhanced related research in this area. It is provide a new idea and way for the channels and methods of using rich coal in North Shaanxi Province.
