The broccoli seed is dry and mature fruit of broccoli from crucifers plant. Mainly contain isothiocyanate as the alive compositions. Epidemiological and laboratory studies suggest that dietary broccoli may prevent or delay a variety of cancers. Broccoli and other crucifers contain a relatively unique family of secondary metabolites called glucosinolates. Glucoraphanin, the major glucosinolate in broccoli, is hydrolyzed by an endogenous plant myrosinase to form isothiocyanate. There have been health care products on sale in abroad now, but the research in our country is just to start and the area of health care products is still blank.So this experiment through the broccoli extract a comprehensive study, research and development into a new and anti-cancer effectiveness of the health-care products "broccoli seed extract tablets."Using orthogonal design approach to the yield of sulforaphane indicators for the broccoli seeds hydrolysis conditions for screening to determine the best broccoli seed extract concentration process: The crushed seeds of broccoli, over 40 mesh screen , then by adding 30 times the volume of pure water in a water bath at 35℃1 h after hydrolysis then adding 1 times the amount of ethanol enzyme inactivation and mustard, centrifugal, the residue was washed with a small amount of water fully after centrifugation.
