Stud ofΦ16~27mm and high intensity metal of 30~80mm thick with were welded with methods of hybrid heat resource stud welding with Induction heat source and draw arc stud welding machine WH-VI- 50 Induces power source and BMH-22SV draw arc stud welding machines were used to do some research on stud welding technics.Compound heat source stud welding contrl systerm was researched by PLC,realized stud welding and stud welding with compound heat source automaticly.Which improved the military heavy vehicles develop towards the process of modernization,automatization and intelligentization.The dissertion researched on method and technics of weldingΦ16mm,22mm,27mm stud andδ30mm,45mm,80mm thick high intensity steel.The ptoject of using accessory induction heat was applied to avoid defecs,such as splash, over-oxide and cold crack.The optimal temperature was 200℃while welding stud ofΦ16mm,the optimal temperature was 300℃for stud ofΦ22mm,and 400℃forΦ27mm.Welding current affected welding quality directly.Too low current lead defects of welding deflection and welding incompletely,too high current lead more splashes,ill protection and oxide on interface.The current of welding stud ofΦ16mm with compound heat source was 1000-1100A;the current of welding stud ofΦ22mm was 1700-2100A;the current forΦ27mm was about 2200A.
