| As an advance material, laminated composite plates are employed widely in engineering area. But the delaminating may occur in laminated composite plates under exterior factors since their characteristics. Therefore, the delamination damages of the laminated composite plates are always hot issue in material domain and mechanics domain. The Hamilton canonical equation and the semi-analytical solution are applied to the study on delamination damage of laminated composite plates in this paper.Firstly, based on the semi-analytical solution for Hamilton canonical equation, the formulations of the clamp and simply supported and symmetric boundary conditions on the Hamiltonian elements are derived from two methods.Secondly, the three-dimensional models of laminated composite plates with some boundary conditions have been established. Compared with the ANSYS models, the method based on the semi-analytical solution for Hamilton canonical equation is efficient and accurate. At the same time, we find that, with increase of meshes, the convergence rate of the semi-analytical solution is faster than that of the traditional finite element method based on displacement methods; the operation efficiency of symmetrical solution is obviously priors to whole solution. Those works are complementarities of the symmetry solution for the semi-analytical method of Hamilton canonical equation. Finally, according to the semi-analytical solution for Hamilton canonical equation, a novel mathematical model (separating and combinating model) of the delaminated laminated composite plates is presented. The same plane elements are used to discretize the top plate and the bottom plate and the liner equation sets of the top plate and the bottom plate are established independently. The compatibility of displacements and stresses on the interface between the plates is employed to derive the control equation of the whole structure. The main advantages are the transverse shear deformations are considered naturally. The method takes full advantages of the semi-analytical solution for Hamilton canonical equation. Meanwhile, being differ from traditional energy release rate for cracked laminated composite plates, the numerical solution method based on the semi-analytical solution of Hamilton canonical equation system is proposed and discussed in this paper. |
