The printing quality is decided by the inking system, which is heavy and complicated of offset press. Structure optimization and parameter modification is the first step of seeking better performance of the ink feeding system. In this paper, the offset press YP1A1H was the research object, the systematic model and the simulation model were built, Matlab was adopted in analyzing and researching of ink feeding system dynamic property, seeking the discrepancy of different structures and parameters, The study also raised the reference of designing new types of inking system and analyzing the characteristics statically and dynamically. The main contents and innovations are as follows:(1) The research disclosed that the axial motion velocity of the vibrators by ADAMS, the sine curve superimposition high frequency undulation was simplified sinusoidal motion, and based on this, established the emulation model of batch and continuous ink feeding system. (2)The mechanics of ink strip (width and thin, narrow and thick) formation and transfer analyzed to do the research. It showed that seeking the good ink system performance by using different strips with different coverage.(3) The ink feeding performance that different ink fountain blades (sectional and integral) were studied and analyzed by simulation, disclosed that it had better uniform ink by sectional than integral type ink fountain blade; and increasing vibrates quantity are uncertainly uniform the ink on plate.(4) The ink system performance influence of printing plate distributions and coverage was studied and analyzed, showed that the ink system discrepancy with the same coverage but different distributions. It is concluded that not the same coverage, the ink uniformity and the settling time is same.(5)Comprised two different batch and continuous ink feeding system. It showed the discrepancy with different ink feeding system. In batch ink feeding system, distributor rollers swing frequency also influenced the performance. Simulation showed that with, the property of ink system would be improved by the increasing discrepancy, approached to continuous ink feedingsystem.
