NiZn ferrite has comprehensive applications in anti-electromagnetic interference area for its high resistivity and good high-frequency property. The magnetic properties of NiZn ferrites are highly sensitive to components and microstructures which closely relate to synthesis method. So choosing an appropriate synthesis method is very important to obtain excellent performances, and that's why the synthesis method is being investigated as an important issue.This paper presents synthesizing Ni1-xZnxFe2O4(x=0.50, 0.55, 0.60, 0.65, 0.70) nanoparticles by low heating temperature solid state reaction (LTSSR). The NiZn ferrite particle synthesized by LTSSR method has small grain size and homogeneous distribution. And phase formation temperature is far below the one used traditional solid phase reaction. Moreover, the equipment requirement and synthesizing procedure are simple.And this paper first report synthesizing NiZn ferrite nanoparticles based on sol-gel method using saccharide as chelator. Contrasting synthesis with PVA, citric acid etc., using saccharide as chelator has such merits as low synthesizing temperature, small grain size and homogeneous distribution nanoparticle, low cost and harmlessness. Moreover, the particles present compact and conterminous morphology if metallic ions and saccharide molecule are under certain proportion. This may has interesting applications and haven't been reported elsewhere yet.
