Objective:PMMA/MMT nano composites were prepared by monomer intercalation suspension polymerazation . Seven kinds of resin materials's microhardness property were contrasted,analyzed and researched in order to understand the materials's applicability and investigate the influence and mechanism of the addition of MMT to the microhardness of the materials.Methods:PMMA/MMT nano composites were prepared by monomer intercalation suspension polymerazation.Two kinds of Nano composite resin materials and five kinds of clinical atificial teeth resin materials was made into seven standard test pieces. The microhardness were tested with digital microhardness tester MHV 2000.Result:The Nano PMMA/MMT composites prepared by monomer intercalation suspension polymerazation can achieved combination in nano dimension.Proper addition of montorillonite can effectively improve the hardness of denture atificial teeth's materials.Conclusion:1. PMMA/MMT nano composites were prepared by monomer intercalation suspension polymerazation .Proper addition of montorillonite can effectively improve the hardness of denture atificial teeth's materials.2 The hardness values of denture atificial teeth's materials increase follwed by the increase of MMT's content.3 The hardness of new materials are higher than some conventional materials,but contrasting to another composite resin material of SHOFU nano teeth,our materials presenced some disparity.
