In recent years, rural non-point source pollution is becoming another major river water pollution after the effective treatment of industrial point source pollution. As an important part of rural non-point source pollution, rural domestic wastewater has not been effective control and management with its large, scattered, not manageable and other characteristics. The research belongs to the subject about the rural domestic wastewater treatment of Sichuan Province Technology-Research project. In order to provide effective rural domestic wastewater treatment method and advanced technology with the actual situation of rural areas. By the experimental research, discussing the operating results for the following demonstration projects, and providing the basic data. The main conclusions of the research are as follows:(1) The quantity of rural domestic wastewater is large. It's about 70~110L per person per day in Sichuan rural areas, it has uneven and instantaneous emission characteristics. Rural domestic wastewater is low concentration sewage type, with it's SS probably in the range of 100~500mg/L, CODcr probably in the range of 50~300 mg/L, NH3-N in the range of 5~38 mg/L, TP in the range of 0.5~12 mg/L;(2) ABR reactor has strong anti-hydraulic loading capacity: in the process of reducing HRT from 24h to 5h, the removal rate of CODcr has little change. It'll recover the original level after changing HRT 2~4h, the removal rate of CODcr remains about 75%;(3) ABR reactor has strong anti-concentrations loading capacity: after running 5h with the 36%~280% concentration loading impacts, the effluent of CODcr regains 65~120mg/L, the removal rate of CODcr maintains 65%~75%, it achieves the good removal effect of anaerobic reactor;(4) Because the role of ammonia bacteria, NH3 concentration increases steadily, but the ammonia is not significant, the average rate of ammonia is about 25.45%;(5) In low-temperature conditions, Because of the high concentration of biological activity, so it'll compensate or buffer the adverse effects of temperature. With the temperature decreases, the removal rates of CODcr is dropped, but not significant, only from 75.19% down to 67.2% during temperature decreases from 30℃to 10℃.(6) Process the idea of combinating ABR-wetland to treatment rural domestic wastewater in the way of dynamic and nature aeration, to reduce the construction cost and operating cost.
