It is vital to solve the pollution of soda slag and to make the waste become treasure. Before solving the pollution, the element composition of soda slag need be known. XRD analysis indicated that soda slag is mainly composed of calcium carbonate and sodium chloride. Based on this, Silicon, iron, aluminum, calcium, magnesium, natrium, chlorine, sulfur and carbon in soda slag were determined by SiO2 gravimetry, EDTA direct volumetry, reverse titrimetry, EDTA direct volumetry, way of the minus, ion selective electrode, mohr titration, BaSO4 gravimetry and acid decomposing-sodium hydroxide asbestos absorbing respectively in this paper. The corresponding results were 3.12%, 0.70%, 0.79%, 21.45%, 7.82%, 2.21%, 15.65%, 0.41%, 5.87%. The recoveries for these elements were 94.24%102.34%,with precision of less than 5. 80% RSD ( n = 3). Experiment showed that those methods have good accuracy, high precision and the cost of analysis was low, so it is fit for the element analyse of production in industry.We also analyzed the component of potassium feldspar with chemical and instrumental analysis. The results were SiO2 60.21%, Fe<sub>2O3 3.96%, Al<sub>2O3 18.36%, MgO 0.14%, Na2O 1.91%, K2O 10.93%.After knowing the components of soda slag and potassium feldspar, and with the principle of alkali melting, we studied the comprehensive utilization in this thesis. Experiment indicated that soda slag and potassium feldspar, which reacted under high temperature, could generate potassium chloride and materials of cement. The translation ratio of dissoluble potassium is above 50%. So it may produce potash fertilizer and the materials of cement, drastically resolve soda slag pollution and carry green chemical engineering out while create economic benefit.
