This paper studies the Heterotrophic Culture (HC) of chlorella vulgaris in Mono -sodium glutamate(MSG) wastewater, and the MSG wastewater degradation by HC and Mixotrophic Culture (MC) chlorella vulgaris. From the perspective of biomass and pigment contents in chlorella vulgaris, we make the evaluation and outlook of the propects of chlorella vulgaris's resources reuse. In the experiment of the heterotrophic transformation of chlorella vulgaris in MSG wastewater. first of all, we study the heterotrophic culture of chlorella vulgaris in the SE medium, and inspected the glucose plus dosage and the right amount of coverage. The results showed that when glucose dosage is 10g/L, inoculum concentration is 10%, the growth indicators of chlorella vulgaris are highest. Subsequently, we study the heterotrophic culture of chlorella vulgaris in different concentrations of MSG wastewater. The results showed that concentrations of wastewater are not too high or too low for the Chlorella heterotrophically. At last, determined the best concentrations of MSG wastewater is 30%.In the experiment of the MSG wastewater degradation, we inspected the MSG wastewater degradability and growth of Chlorella vulgaris by measuring water quality and Chlorella vulgaris growth indicators at different processing time. Then in-depth analysis of the relations of chlorella vulgaris growth and MSG wastewater degradability. The results showed that the MC chlorella vulgaris is better than the HC chlorella vulgaris at the effect of MSG wastewater degradation. The best processing time is 7d, and in this experiment, the MC chlorella vulgaris's max removal rates of CODCr, BOD5 and NH3-N reach 85.7%, 89.6% and 51.9%.Chlorella vulgaris is very valuable. Resources use of chlorella vulgaris has a lot of ways, this paper mainly explore its resource value from biomass and pigment content. By calculating, in the experimental conditions, the MC chlorella vulgaris is better than the HC chlorella vulgaris at the biomass and pigment content. The content of Chlorophyll, Carotenoid and Lutein in MC chlorella vulgaris reaches 3.5%, 0.69% and 0.44%.
