This study is on the anaerobic and aerobic biotechnology treatment of 1-butanol fermentation wastewater. 1-butanol fermentation waste water has abundant and complicated component, a high density and its COD is up to 15000mg/L. the components varies frequently and the NH4+-N usually goes beyond the state standard of industrial waste water.Anaerobic-aerobic biological treatment process is an effective conventional process that has been applied widely. At first the anaerobic circle sludge of moderate temperature is acclimated through batch and gradient culture into effective anaerobic activated sludge in the stirred tank reactor. After the acclimatization is completed, the study on the treatment of 1-butanol fermentation wastewater goes into the continuous in-water, and the conditions and operating parameters are optimized. The result of moderate temperature anaerobic biological treatment shows that, when the temperature is settled to 34℃and the pH of wastewater is adjusted to 6.7,in addition the activated carbon as carrier, the anaerobic biological treatment's HRT is 18h and the VRL is 20.14kgCOD/m3·day, the removal of COD is up to 81.3%; the BOD/COD of outflow is more than 0.7, for the COD is 2910mg/L and the BOD is 2100mg/L. The anaerobic biological treatment is successful and effective.The anaerobic outflow is added in the aerobic airlift loop reactor. The aerobic sludge from oxidation ditch is acclimated through batch and gradient culture in the reactor into effective aerobic activated sludge. After the aerobic conditions and operating parameters are considered and optimized, the treatment comes into continuous flow. And the result of aerobic treatment shows as follows, the temperature in the reactor is stabled to 34℃and the pH of inflow is 7.3, the activated carbon is added as the carrier, the HRT is 10h, the removal of COD is more than 95%. The outflow is up to the state standard of industrial wastewater (COD≤150mg/L,NH4+-N≤25mg/L), as the pH is 7.0, the COD is 115mg/L and the NH4+-N is 3.24mg/L.
