Study On The Prouction Fechnology And Quality Of Siberian Ginseng Naoling Effervescent Tablet

Siberian Ginseng Naoling Oral Solution (SGNOS) is an effective drug for insomnia, dreamfulness, amnesia, fatigue, lack of strength and poor appetite in clinical treatment. In order to overcome the disadvantage of SGNOS, such as the inconvenience in carry and storage, complicated producing process and froward quality control, Siberian Ginseng Naoling Effervescent Tablet (SGNET), a new drug derived from SGNOS, was developed and studied.The production technology of Siberian Ginseng Paste and Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis Liquid Extract was strictly chosen. After lots of tests, the prescription of SGNET was selected as follows: Siberian Ginseng Paste 250g, Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis Liquid Extract 250mL, lactose 242g, citrate 417g, sodium bicarbonate 553g, PEG-4000 48g. The production technology of SGNET was well-chosen and researched through three times of pilot-testing. As a result, all the quality specifications of the produced stablets, including weight difference, froth, time limit of disintegration, content and microorganism limit, were conformed to the criterria of National Pharmacopeias.The quality standard of Siberian Ginseng Naoling Effervescent Tablet was put forward on the basis of experiment. Methods for the physical and chemical test of schizandrol A, determination of schizandrol A by TLC and HPLC were set up. Results of three times of pilot-testing and the check from Shaanxi Institute for Drug Control indicated the standard had good recurrence and exclusive nature and it could be used in production for controlling product quality.
