High-Speed-Machining Technology is an important research method of mechanic- al manufacture field in the 21st century. At present, it has been applied abroad in the aluminiumalloy, cast-iron and so on. For Al/SiCp composites have the potential to provide desirable mechanical properties including high specific stiffness, high strength, wearable resistance, corrosion resistance, it has been applied abroad increasingly. However, Al/SiCp composites have the characteristics of lower machinability, gravely tool weari- ng, low machine efficiency, so the High-Speed-Machining Technology and mechanism research have become the foreland research task of the High-Speed-Machin- ing field. In the paper, we have carried out High-Speed-Milling experiment research and theoretic analysis of the cutting force, tool wearing, and machining surface roughness of Al/SiCp composites with end PCD milling tool. There are main research contents and conclusions as follow:(1)This paper presents the influence of cutting parameters on cutting force. The experimental results demonstrated that with the cutting speed increasing, the cutting forces reduced; cutting force also increases with the increasing of milling depth and feed rate; we have established cutting force model of Al/SiCp composites with PCD milling edge based on aboves.(2)This paper presents wear laws and wear mechanism of PCD and ceramics tool, which have cutted Al/SiCp composites with High-Speed. The experiment results demonstrated that ceramic tool exhibits short cutting life and low wear resistance, so it couldn't proceed for continuous and long time cutting; PCD tool exhibit better wear resistance and can proceed for a long time. Moreover, it presents primary micro wear, abrasion.(3)This paper presents the influences of cutting speed, cutting depth, feed rate on the surface roughness. Cutting speed and cutting depth have a little influence on roughness; feed rate have great key role on it, moreover, as the feed rate rise, the roughness also increases greatly.
