The ordovician reservoir of the Tahe oilfield belongs to carbonatite reservoir with the characteristics of karst and fracture and cave. Because of strong anisotropizm and fracture development of the reservoir ,the oil well has the high production condition. As a bottom water reservoir, if the individual well productivity is excessively high,it will cause the bottom water coning inevitably. The ordovician reservoir is different from the sand reservoir and other fracture type carbonate reservoir,the conventional method for determining reservoir proper production is not practically usefull at all.It is difficult to determine proper per-well production and working system in quantification,and affects the development of the ordovician reservoir.Through the research of storage-percolation modes and oil-water relationship modes of the karst reservoirs in Tahe Oilfield, the paper determines the proper per-well production and proposes the policy of steadying production and controling water cut based on the reservoir the well encountered and combination with the water-bearing increasing characteristics and production decline laws.The method being fit for proper per-well corbonate reservoir of Tahe oil field is given here through experience-sat method of practical per-well performance,which shows good effect in practical application and ensure to increase water-free oil production of the well.Using wavelet transformation method to denoise for real production data,compared with Chan's oil-water ratio diagnostic fig,the mechanism of water stepping up is given on the sight of geological and reservoir.It supplies a reliable bases for water prevention in primarily using diagnostics and analysis methods.It can be concluded that the reasons for the water stepping up of high production well are rapid channeling and near well bore water channeling.Because the high production wells in Tahe oilfield are in flow production period,and turn to production with electric submersible pump when the oil wells breakthrough. On the basis of the nodal system analys with WellFlo and considering the well production history, the proper production parameters can be given .
