In this paper, applying optical micro-scope and compressive testing machine to study sintering character of each iron ore and mixture ores, and carrying out the sintering-cup test with materials which were used in the mini-sintering, the rotor drum strength conventional examination and the orthogonal experiment range analytic method to study the influence of the iron material matches, the basicity, the fuel consumption and the moisture content on the sinter technology targets. With the help of optical microscope, researches the effect of the sinter mineral composition and structure to its quality.From the research, we find that under the condition of the same basicity, the softening temperature of Brazil iron ore is maximum, and the softening temperature of Bajie ore is minimum. When Brazil iron ore mixed with the domestic fine ore by 1:1, the softening temperature of the mixture of Brazil iron ore and Yangchun iron is minimum. According to the sintering-cup experiment, we know that under the condition of ratio of iron is less, especially for the Brazil iron ore, the sample has better rotor drum strength. It reflects that the ratio of Brazil iron influences the generation of liquid phases process during the sintering cup process. Magnetite is mainly in Yangchun ore,swelling its large size. When it mixed with Brazil ore by 1:1, it can reduce the size of Yangchun ore shrinkage. In the sintering-cup experiment, with the Yangchun iron in a gradual increasing, the sample strength was increased after first downward trend. It reflects that the ratio of Yangchun ore increased and swelling increased can affect the strength of the sinter. That Brazil iron ore mixed with Indian-60 ore, Bajie ore and Yangchun ore each other by 1:1 can generate more calcium ferrite than the Brazil ore in the microsructure under the same basicity condition. The observation of the sintering-cup experiment with domestic mine will help improve the strength and sinter grade. Brazil iron ore mixed with Indian-60 ore, Bajie ore and Yangchun ore each other by 1:1 carry out sintering, to compare with the compressive strength, the sinter of Barzil ore is minimum, and mixed ores with Brazil ore and Indian-60 ore followed, the mixture with Brazil ore and Bajie ore is maximum.
