A new type hydrocyclone-micro-porous air-injection hydrocyclone has been developed in order to treat the oilfield enhanced recovery sewage which viscosity is big, the emulsified degree is serious, the emulsified oil density increases, the difficult biodegradation.This paper uses the FLUENT software to simulate the internal flow field of the two phase currents in the hydrocyclone, elaborates two phase currents separation mechanism. Based on these, analyzed and explained the separation mechanism of the micro-porous air-injection hydrocyclone, and has carried on the stress analysis to the oil gas complex.It is feasible that the micro-porous air-injection hydrocyclone can realize high efficient separation for oil wastewater. The micro-porous air-injection hydrocyclone prototype has been designed based on predecessor's experience. Through the massive experimental study, researched the micro-porous air-injection hydrocyclone's each performance, then determined parameters as divergence ratio, gas liquid volume ratio, overflow mouth size and gas injection spot and so on. And contrasted it with the conventional fluid-fluid hydrocyclone, the contrast discovered that the micro-porous air-injection hydrocyclone's separation efficiency was higher, and the small cone section gas injection surpassed the big cone section gas injection, section A1 is the best gas injection spot.Meanwhile has carried on the reliability analysis to the air-injection hydrocyclone, and has carried on the detailed analysis to the most weak part---the micro-porous. Research the whole distortion, jamming and corrosion. Have not found the hole presented the jamming phenomenon through the scanning electron microscope examination, but it has certain distortion, and this does not affect the gas injection. Corrosion phenomenon of the pore tube is quite serious; therefore the flushing and the greasy dirt elimination should be carried on regularly to reduce the residual greasy dirt corrosion to the micro-porous material. What influence pore tube reliability is biggest is the pore tube's whole distortion, after having the whole distortion, the flow field of the hydrocyclone also changed alone with it, which will affect the centrifugal separation of the fluid greatly, so it must to guarantee the pore tube's intensity and precision in the design and in the manufacture, simultaneously reduce the microscopic distortion question which produces in the installation process to guarantee the water treatment quality.
