| In this thesis PF was reinforced by carboxyl butyl benzene for the first time. The modified PF was foamed and its proportion has been optimized. The structure of the modified PF was analyzed.The PF modified with carboxyl butyl benzene has been synthesized. At the later period of synthesization, the carboxyl butyl benzene was added and the resol was got by dehydrated. The results of qualitative analyses using IR, and impact fracture surface morphology analyses using SEM showed that there was copolymerization and chemical bonds were formed between PF and carboxyl butyl benzene.The impact strength of the PF with carboxyl butyl benzene evidently increase. The addition of the carboxyl butyl benzene is 7%, the impact strength is 4.5 kJ/㎡. The solidifying temperature was determined by the DSC which is lower 2℃than that not modified.By means of uniform and regressive design in foamy experimental proportion.The foamy experimental proportions were designed by means of uniform and regressive design. The best proportion is 100 modified PF,6.00 exterior active reagent,8.33 foam reagent,19.44 solidify reagent and the impact strength is 2.7 kJ/㎡. The impact strength of that not modified is 0.3 kJ/㎡.Results showed that the toughness of the foam PF evidently increased and its size stability and compressive strength were not reduced. |
