For polymer flooding the high viscosity of oil and the high salinity of formation water are the adverse factors, but the enough residual oil reserves, widespread sedarenite of fluvial facies, the stronger aeolotropism, good reservoir bed are the favoured factors, so the polymer flooding can be tried to improve development effect through the study on precipitation facies, rhythmicity, water out behavior, residual oil distribution, aeolotropism, poroperm characteristics, characteristics of oil and water quality.After comprehensive analysising the whole development of oil field,geological data, petroleum engineering and surface condition, the well 116 of the westernⅢblock in the south of oil field is selected to carry on pilot. At the same time considering speeding up the experimental advancement of polymer flooding and putting out the test result as soon as possible the close spacing is carried on.After drilling the new well, there are 4 injection wells ,1 centre production well and 8 balance extraction wells in the Pilot area.The goal layer experimental block isГlayer.Through the laboratory experiment, the polymer with 3500×104 molecular weight is selected as oil displacement agent. The laboratory evaluation of polymer indicates that the polymer with 3500×104 molecular weight has viscosifying action and stability. Through the laboratory reseach, the profile control agent which is adapted to up-salt oil layer is selected.The gel characteristic is perfect and the system viscosity after gelling reaches the higer level by the laboratory experiment of profile control agent flooding ,it can effectively improve the effect of inject profile.The laboratory physical flooding experiments and numerical simulation indicate that the adoption of ultra high molecular weight as a displacement agent can get a better flooding effect and the single plug and the concentration of polymer with 1500mg/L can get a high mobility ratio between displacement fluid and displaced fluid according to the properties of oil layers in the up-salt reservoir.The field tests indicated that polymer flooding has obtained ideal development effect whichhe recovery has increased 3.61 percent so far and it will be reached4.6 percent. Polymer flooding need to be study more in this reservoir.
