In order to study the ASP system displacement mechanism of irreducible oil displacement by water, and the influential rule and mechanism of interfacial tension, formation and coalescence of emulsified oil droplet on ASP displacement efficiency, the ASP system displacement experiments have been done with micro-simulation model and core displacement model. The displacement experiments have been done with the micro-simulation model which pore structure is similar to formation. The experimental process and result have been analyzed by the dynamic microscopic oil displacement color image quantized processing system to illustrate the ASP system displacement mechanism of irreducible oil displacement. The same series of surfactant with close composition and structures are used to confect ASP system for core displacement experiments under various equilibrium interfacial tension and dynamic interfacial tension. The influential rule of equilibrium between oil and water, and dynamic interfacial tension on oil displacement results is obtained through core displacement experiments; and the effect of coalescence of emulsified oil droplet on ASP displacement efficiency is obtained through core displacement experiments. Mechanism of low interfacial tension system increasing oil displacement efficiency is analyzed based on microscopic oil displacement experiments; formation of emulsified oil droplet on ASP displacement efficiency has been analyzed. As emulsified oil droplet formation is the main way to enhance ASP displacement efficiency, the lower water/oil interfacial tension is, the higher viscosity of displacement system is; the easier producing emulsified droplet energy is, the better displacement efficiency is.
