Dilutedβ- ionone is a spice with woody odor, gillyflower odor and heavy fruity spice, which is used to confect fruity essence.β- ionone is a important intermediate of perfume and medicine too. By comparing impact of catalyst used in Aldol and cyclizing reaction, reacting temperature, reacting time, different solvent on synthesizing effect, we optimized the processing technology and explored the best processing technology. Result of GC analysis showed that:1. In the period of aldol reaction of citral and acetone, conversion of citral, synthetic and refined yield of pseudoionone were 98.4%, 95.73% and 76.8% respectively. Total yield of aldol reaction was 73.52%.2. In the period of cyclizing reaction of pseudoionone, conversion of pseudoionone, synthetic and refined yield of ionone were 99.37%, 95.14% and 73.55% respectively. Total yield of cyclizing reaction was 69.98%.3. Integrating the aldol reaction and cyclizing reaction, total yield of ionone was51.45%, which was 3 percent higher than literature value. Our technology was mild condition, easy to industrialize.The inclusion compound ofβ-cyclodextrin withβ-ionone was prepared and we studied the optimized processing technology. Characteristic of the inclusion compounds was studied by IR, NMR and DSC, which showed that:1. The optimized processing technology was:β-CD andβ-ionone react at the ratio of 1:1, reacting time: 6 h, reacting temperature: 60℃, add dehydrated alcohol which was20% of reaction system.2. The IR spectrogram of inclusion compound was quite different from that of.β-ionone. Characteristic absorption band ofβ-ionone weakened and moved to low wavenumber. 1H NMR spectrum of inclusion compound was obviously different from that ofβ-ionone, which indicated the formation of inclusion compound. DSC analysis showed that inclusion compound enhanced the thermal stability of perfume molecular.3. Our study provided the theory evidence which prooved inclusion compound enhanced the stability of perfume molecular.Adding inclusion compound into compounding tobacco thread could improve qualitative stability of cigarette.
