Along with the applying of high-grade product sintering ore on furnace, limes as a hardening agent of sintering ore gradually is recognized by people. Problems concerned by people are how to improve quality and the influence activity of limes to sintering performance.The method of obtaining high-activity lime and the rule of activity lime influence on metallurgical capability of sintering ore are found through burning limestone under the condition of vacuum. Main studied contents include: burning temperature and time of constant temperature influencing on the activity of limestone; different activity influencing on properties of lime; amount of lime influencing on the properties of sinter; activity of limestone influencing on the sinter metallurgical properties. Results show that:The same ingredients limestone is used in the experiment. At the initial vacuum condition, burning temperature is 950℃, the activity of limestone reaches the highest value of 73℃·min-1 when the thermal retardation time is 60min.Micro porous and pore of limestone and cumulative amount have effects on the activity of lime. Lime microporous and mesoporous accounted for all of lime pore volume 26%, 48%, 52%, 73% of the activity of lime activity are 57.75℃·min-1, 67.71℃·min-1, 68.57℃·min-1 and 73.00℃·min-1. The more cumulative amount limes microporous and mesoporous is, the higher active it is.Sinter mixed the activity lime can increase the intensity of sinter, and rate of finished products. The intensity of sinter and rate of finished products reaches the best value when amount of lime is 5%; The intensity of sinter and rate of finished products decline when the amount of lime adds to 6% and 7%.Activity of lime affects crystallization and amount of the calcium ferrite in sinter. The calcium ferrite in sinter exists in fine acicular when the activity of lime is 73.00℃·min-1.The calcium ferrite in sinter exists in acicular when the activity of lime is 68.57℃·min-1. The calcium ferrite in sinter exists in platform when the activity of lime is 67.71℃·min-1.
