| Exploiting and developing the low-cost sintering material is an effective way for the iron and steel industry to solve the problem of resource crisis currently. Properly enhancing the quantity of low-price ore in use is of great significance for decreasing the cost of sintering and reasonable ore scheme because sintering can not only reduce the sintering cost but also improve the quality of sintering ore. Especially as many large enterprises has sequentially increased the application of low-price imported ore, more imported ores has appeared in our country with varied sintering characters, which results in the necessity of exploring the appropriate scheme. Therefore, the research on optimizing the ore scheme for sintering and processing parameter shows great importance for the practical production.Based on XuanHua Steel's raw material, sintering metallogenic rule of India iron ore, Venezuela iron ore, Iran iron ore and Yandi iron ore, Optimization of processing parameters for sintering are studied in this paper through a lot of sinter cup experiments. Finally reasonable ore matching scheme for sintering and processing parameter are found. The main conclusions are as follows.1) The sintering indexes obtained from the ore matching scheme of the two imported ores-India iron ore and Venezuela iron ore, are approximately close. If the sintering rate and productivity are taken into consideration, the optimal ore matching scheme is 22.5%, India iron ore and 15% Venezuela iron ore.2) During the ore matching schemes of three imported ores-India iron ore, Venezuela iron ore and Iran iron ore or Yandi iron ore, Iran iron ore is the best option. That is the best ore matching scheme is 15% India iron ore, 15% Venezuela iron ore and 10%Iran iron ore.3) Within the scope of 1.7-2.1, with the raising of the basicity, the integrated character index of sintering ore has been improved and the basicity of XuanHua steel sintering ore can be lowered to 2.0 when the processing parameter is altered rationally.4) When the content of MgO is within the scope of 2.2%-3.0%, with the raising of the content of MgO , the integrated character of sintering ore has been improved and the better option is to control and keep the content of MgO in the sintering ore at 3.0%.5) When matching carbon is within the scope of 3.5%-4.0%, with the increasing of the matching carbon, the over-all character of sintering ore has become worse and the content of fild matching carbon is better to be controlled at 3.3% for the XuanHua raw material.The above results shows that through changing the ore matching scheme for imported ore and processing parameter, the object of improving and optimizing overall character of XuanHua steel sintering ore can be achieved. In the practical production, the specific matching scheme for imported ore and sintering parameter should be determined on the basis of the above research results and the raw material purchasing condition and cost.All these contents will not only enrich the theories of iron ore fines agglomeration in terms of providing the theoretical basis and countermeasures for utilizing iron ores efficiently under the condition of modern blast furnace, but also offer the referential value to the researchers working in the concerned fields. |
