The open-pit slope of Bang Mo Mountain iron mine has ever arose some coast accidents which have led to machine and personnel's damage in the last years. For reducing disaster of occurrence, this dissertation uses the FLAC method and the extreme limit equilibrium method to analyze the stability of slope, to predict the development trend of the body.To carry on surveying and collecting a great deal of related data on the spot to the mineral mountain, then the stability of slope is made computational simulation by the model of the FLAC establishment. The simulated results can compare with the extreme limit equilibrium method at the same time. They carry out the analysis of slope stability by the way of stressing and meeting an emergency, X&Y's direction displacement and safety factor.The computational simulation concludes the west slope safety factors are lower, which is unsteady. Therefore it needs to reinforced; The south slope contains great water, which affect the stability of the body, so it need to drain water to reduce the hydraulic pressure and cut water by catchwater. Meanwhile, in order to reduce the demolition harm, this dissertation suggests the mineworkers use the pre-splitting demolition technology. The thesis also designs the pre-splitting demolition scheme.THE STABILITY FORECAST OF SLOPE IS THE HEART OF THE MATTER OF SLOPE ENGINEERING, SO THIS STUDY IS NOT ONLY GOOD FOR THE SAFETY OF BANG MO-SHAN IRON MINE PRODUCTION, BUT ALSO GOOD FOR OTHER IRON MINES.
