Haizhou opencast coal mine geological environment treatment project as engineering background, this paper has calculated and analyzed the southern slope stability of Haizhou mine, and made specific control measures, mainly works are as follows:(1) Lithology, geological structure and hydrogeological conditions and other characteristics of study area on the south were analyzed, the analysis showed that the Southern Haizhou mine south side deep mining and spontaneous combustion have an impact on slope stability, making the area the landslide area and the presence of multiple zones slump.(2) The study area is divided by four partitions to simplify the model, methods were established using ANSYS software to have a three-dimensional numerical simulation, finally got the displacement and stress characteristics cloud of the partitions, the maximum deformation is mainly concentrated in the 0?150m elevation.(3) The south side is divided into 12 sections, using two-dimensional limit equilibrium methods with Geostudio software, we had an analysis of the Southern Slope stability, study results showed that the overall status of Haizhou mine south slope and local slope can not guarantee the safety factor requirements.(4) After the status quo by cutting into the slope to slope and slope stabilization checking, analysis of the lawin the South to help stabilize the entire length of the proposed presser foot slope cutting program, the safety factor safety factor before each cross-section relative to the governance and management than to verify the feasibility governance programs.
