The great-depth mining is our country mining tendency. Develops the technology of great-depth and big-section on gob-side entry retaining, adapting type-Y to ventilate, has a very important significance in developing innovation, such as controlling gas on working face, improving the working environment ,increasing the coal recovery efficiency, eliminating island working face, achieving reciprocating exploitation and so on. With the help of integrating studies of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and practice in site, some significant achievements on the Study on surrounding control mechanism of great-depth and big-section in gob-side entry retaining have been made, which are shown in the following: Based on the key strata theory in rock's control, structural mechanics model of the surrounding rock of gob-side entry retaining is constructed, the distortion of surrounding rock and the control mechanism has been studied systematically. prediction the distortion of surrounding rock across the mechanical model on surrounding rock; Considering the loosen surrounding rocks of big-section and great-depth in gob-side entry retaining and the serious deformation because of second or more mining, the scheme of bolt support is designed, the supporting mechanism of bolt is analyzed, and the principle for bolt to resist the cut deformation is revealed in the support of serious deformation surrounding rock; Designs supporting parameter and technology for a new filling material in type-CHCT , according to the property that the bolt can support the big-section entry, across arousing surrounding self. and analyzed the filing stability through the numerical simulation.
